General Shipping Information

Free shipping as advertised on LAXseries’ product pages applies to Standard Delivery to domestic, mainland, United States shipments only. Standard free delivery service level is curbside, economy, delivering to the curb or first dry area.

SOFA DELIVERY is 6% of the merchandise total and offers curbside or first dry area delivery with a delivery appointment. If the destination is an apartment or multi-unit building, the order will be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to your apartment door. The typical delivery window is 3–10 business days from the day your order is shipped. Standard Delivery does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packing materials. Saturday, Sunday, after hours, specified tight delivery windows and holiday deliveries are also available for an additional charge. Delivery appointments will not be supplied for small packages shipped through Fedex or UPS. White Glove Shipping is available at additional cost.

All deliveries are by appointment only with the exception of small packages as noted on product descriptions. Once shipment is in your destination area, the carrier will contact you directly for an appointment time. Small packages are delivered by Fedex or UPS at our regular shipping and processing fees depending on the shipping service level chosen. Customers must be present to sign for the packages when packages are delivered. If carrier is instructed to leave shipment without signature, all damage rights will be waived.

U.S. continental domestic transit time is approximately 7-10 business days from the day your order is shipped. If there is a delay, we will notify you by mail, email, or telephone. All packages are drop-shipped out of Los Angeles, CA 90018.

Please note, items ordered in the same transaction may not arrive in the same box or on the same day. This may be due to larger and smaller packages being delivered by different carriers. In some instances, shippers are unable to fit all packages on one truck, leaving remaining items on the next shipment. If this problem arises, please notate the missing items on the carrier’s signature form so as to have record of the missing pieces and contact us within 24 hours of receiving the shipment. We will trace the remaining box(es) as quickly as possible and will notify you of your order’s status.

All boxes must be inspected for damaged and noted to the driver at the time of delivery. If there is concealed damage, MASHstudios must be notified immediately (within 24 hours) of the damage and digital images must be emailed to orders@MASHstudios.com.

It is possible to preorder a backordered item, meaning stock of the piece has temporarily run out. Preorders will be put in a queue in the order in which they are received and will be shipped out immediately when the pieces become available.

For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico addresses, additional fees may apply. Please contact us directly at 310.313.4700 to inquire about shipping to these outlying areas.

International shipping outside of North America can be arranged. However, additional fees do apply. All international shipments are quoted on a case-by-case basis and restrictions may apply. Recipients for international shipments are responsible for all import duties and taxes, where applicable. LAXseries does not ship directly to Canada nor Australia at this time, but rather through our network of Canadian and Australian retailers. Please contact MASHstudios directly for a complete list of Canadian and Australian retailers in your area. All shipping charges quoted in writing by LAXseries are valid for a one week period and subject to change. Upon delivery, you will become the owner of the purchased goods and will be held liable for any loss, damage or destruction

LAXseries Shipping Levels

STANDARD DELIVERY offers curbside or first dry area delivery with a delivery appointment. LOS ANGELES AND ORANGE COUNTY customers have the option of free standard next business day shipping. If you wish to include this service, please specify this in the “Order Notes” section at checkout indicating which delivery windows you prefer (12:00pm – 3:00pm or 3:00pm – 6:00pm PST). Such orders must be submitted before 5:00pm PST. Customers will be contacted by the shipping carrier approximately 20 minutes prior to delivery to ensure someone is present to sign for the package(s). Saturday, Sunday, after hours, inside/room of choice delivery, specified tight delivery windows and holiday deliveries are also available for an additional charge. *Next business day shipping is not available for White Glove shipments.

INSIDE/ROOM OF CHOICE DELIVERY is available for an extra $99 and offers the same shipping window and services included in our Standard Delivery service, plus, your delivery will be brought in and placed in your room of choice. We recommend this service to customers in apartments, multi-unit buildings or offices. Room of Choice Delivery does not include unpacking, assembly or removal of packing materials. It also does not include moving of existing items. Saturday, Sunday, after hours, specified tight delivery windows and holiday deliveries are also available for an additional charge.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY includes a delivery appointment, inside delivery, assembly and placement in your room of choice and removal of all packing materials. The delivery window for White Glove service is typically 2–4 weeks from the day your order is shipped. Due to size, weight or fragility, we recommend the use of White Glove service on select items (noted in their product descriptions). White Glove Delivery does not include wall mounting, electrical or structural changes.Deliveries requiring cranes or window removal are not available. A charge of 15% of your order total will be applied upon choosing White Glove Delivery. Saturday, Sunday, after hours, specified tight delivery windows and holiday deliveries are also available for an additional charge.

EXPEDITED DELIVERY
Expedited deliveries placed before 5:00pm (PST) will ship on the next business day (Monday-Friday) using two (2) day air. Please note, expedited deliveries are not available for white glove shipments. A charge of 28% of your order total will be applied for Expedited Delivery. Saturday, Sunday, after hours, specified tight delivery windows and holiday deliveries are also available for an additional charge.
